HUDSON — Fire Chief Jamie Desautels and Police Chief Richard DiPersio report that the Hudson Fire and Police Departments responded to and extinguished a structure fire at a commercial building. 

On Monday, March 11 at approximately 11:35 a.m. Hudson Fire and Police received a report of an explosion at a commercial business at 106 Forest Ave, and someone who was injured.  

Upon arrival crews observed fire and heavy smoke coming from the structure and Hudson Fire requested a full department recall, activating all off-duty members. 

One person was transported to an area hospital for treatment of injuries.  

There is no danger to the public. 

The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Hudson Fire Department,  the State Police Fire & Explosion Investigation Unit assigned to the State Fire Marshal’s Office, and the District 14 Fire Investigation Team.
